At the 18th of April 2016 I drove from Hughenden to Porcupine Gorge National Park. First I visited the Gorge Lookout.
Anschließend fuhr ich zum Pyramid Camp Ground, von wo aus ich meine beiden Wanderungen startete. Die erste führte mich entlang des Rim Walks zu einem Aussichtspunkt. Die zweite Wanderung ging, mit einem Zwischenstopp am Pyramid Lookout, entlang des Gorge Walks, welcher bis in die Schlucht hinunterführte.
Afterwards I drove to Pyramid Camp Ground, where I started both of my walks. The first walk took me along the Rim Walk to a lookout. The second walk went, with a stopover at Pyramid Lookout, along the Gorge Walk, which goes all the way down to the bottom of the gorge.
Auf dem Rückweg nach Hughenden machte ich noch am Eaglehawk Gorge Lookout halt. Den Rest des Tages verbrachte ich auf dem Campingplatz in Hughenden.
On my way back to Hughenden I stopped at the Eaglehawk Gorge Lookout. I spent the rest of the day at the camp ground in Hughenden.
Am nächsten Tag (19.04.16) fuhr ich von Hughenden nach Charters Towers. Während der Fahrt machte ich einen Zwischenstopp an einem Aussichtspunkt direkt am Highway im White Mountains National Park.
The next day (19.04.16) I drove from Hughenden to Charters Towers. On my way I stopped at a lookout next to the Highway in White Mountains National Park.
In Charters Towers besuchte ich das Visitor Centre, lief etwas durch die Stadt und fuhr zum Towers Hill Lookout.
In Charters Towers I visited the Visitor Centre, walked through the town and drove to Towers Hill Lookout.
Die Nacht verbrachte ich auf einer Rest Area außerhalb von Charters Towers.
I spent the night at a rest area outside of Charters Towers.
Am 20.04.16 fuhr ich nach Townsville für den Basic Service für mein Auto. Anschließend fuhr ich weiter nach Innisfail, wo ich die Nacht auf einer Rest Area verbrachte.
At the 20th of April I drove to Townsville for the basic service for my car. Afterwards I continued my drive to Innisfail, where I spent the night at a rest area.
Gestern (21.04.16) fuhr ich zum Mamu Tropical Skywalk im Wooroomooran National Park. Dieser ist Teil der Wet Tropics. Dort lief ich den Pfad, inkl. Hochweg und Aussichtsturm entlang. Informationen gab es durch einen Audioguide.
Yesterday (21/04/16) I drove to the Mamu Tropical Skywalk inside the Wooroomooran National Park. This park is part of the Wet Tropics. There I walked along the track, including a elevated walkway and a lookout tower. Information was given via an audio guide.
Anschließend fuhr ich nach Millaa Millaa, wo ich den Waterfall Circuit mit Millaa Millaa Falls, Zillie Falls und Ellinjaa Falls entlangfuhr.
Afterwards I drove to Millaa Millaa, where I drove along the Waterfall Circuit with the Millaa Milla Falls, Zillie Falls and Ellinjaa Falls.
Am Nachmittag fuhr ich dann nach Ravenshoe, wo ich auf einem Campingplatz eincheckte. Am Abend gab es ein Lagerfeuer an dem ich mich mit anderen Besuchern unterhielt und alle gemeinsam zu Abend aßen.
In the afternoon I drove to Ravenshoe, where I checked in at a camp ground. In the evening there was a camp fir, where I talked to other visitors and everybody had dinner together.
Heute (22.04.16) besuchte ich als erstes die Millstream Falls im Millstream Falls Nationalpark.
Today (22/04/16) I first visited the Millstream Falls in Millstream Falls National Park.
Danach fuhr ich in den Mount Hypipamee Nationalpark, wo ich eine Wanderung durch den Regenwald vorbei an den Dinner Falls und The Crater machte.
Anschließend fuhr ich in den Wongabel State Forest, wo ich den Heritage Walk entlanglief.
After that I drove to Wongabel State Forest, where I walked along the Heritage Walk.
Danach ging es nach Atherton zum Hallorans Hill Lookout.
After that I went to Atherton to the Hallorans Hill Lookout.
Als letztes fuhr ich heute nach Malanda, wo ich im Malanda Falls Conservation Park das Visitor Centre besuchte, mir die Malanda Falls ansah und den Tulip Oak Walk, sowie den Rainforest Walk entlanglief.
As the last thing today I drove to Malanda, where I visited the visitor centre, looked at the Malanda Falls and walked along the Tulip Oak and Rainforest Walk inside the Malanda Falls Conservation Park.
Anschließend fuhr ich zurück nach Atherton, wo ich die Nacht auf einem Campingplatz verbringen werde.
Afterwards I drove back to Atherton, where I will spend the night at a camping ground.
