Kings Canyon & Alice Springs

Am 03.03.16 bin ich von Yulara (nahe Uluru-Kata Tjuta Nationalpark) zum Kings Canyon Resort im Watarrka Nationalpark gefahren. Auf der Fahrt habe ich Ziwschenstopps in Curtin Springs und am Mount Connor Lookout gemacht. Den Nachmittag habe ich dann am Pool des Campingplatzes verbracht, wo ich mich mit sehr netten Leuten unterhalten habe.
At the 3rd of march I drove from Yulara (near Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park) to the Kings Canyon Resort inside the Watarrka National Park. During my drive I made stops in Curtin Springs and at the Mount Connor Lookout. I spent the afternoon at the pool of the camping ground, where I talked to some nice people.

Am nächsten morgen (04.03.16) bin ich dann früh aufgestanden, um zum Kings Canyon zu fahren, dort den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen und den Rim Walk zu machen. Den Sonnenaufgang hab ich vom Anfang des Rim Walks, direkt nach dem steilen Aufstieg, gesehen.
The next morning (04/03/16) I got up early to drive to Kings Canyon, watching the sunrise there and to do the Rim Walk. I watched the sunrise at the beginning of the Rim Walk, directly after the steep steps.

Nach dem Sonnenaufgang machte ich den Rim Walk zusammen mit einem älteren niederländischen Paar und drei Französinnen. Alle hatte ich am Vortag am Pool kennengelernt.
After the sunrise I did the Rim Walk together with an older dutch couple and three French Girls. I met all of them at the pool the previous day.

Auf halber Strecke der Wanderung liegt der Garden of Eden, eine Schlucht mit permanenten Wasserlöchern und vielen Pflanzen.
Half way through the Rim Walk the Garden of Eden is located, a gorge with permanent waterholes and many plants.

Nach einer kurzen Pause im Garden of Eden stand der Rest des Rim Walks an.
After a short break in the Garden of Eden we walked the rest of the Rim Walk.

Nach dem Rim Walk fuhr ich über Erldunda nach Alice Springs, wo ich die Nacht auf einer Rest Area außerhalb der Stadt verbrachte.
After the Rim Walk I drove via Erldunda to Alice Springs, where I spent the night at a rest area outside of the town.

Gestern (05.03.16) fuhr ich nach Alice Springs, schaute mir die Stadt samt ANZAC Hill an und verbrachte den Nachmittag und die Nacht auf einem Campingplatz.
Yesterday (05/03/16) I drove to Alice Springs took a look at the town including the ANZAC Hill and spent the afternoon and the night at a camping ground.

Heute (06.03.16) habe ich vormittags den Olive Pink Botanic Garden Alice Springs besucht. Dieser fokusiert sich auf die Pflanzen der Trockengebiete Australiens. Dort habe ich auch einige Kängurus gesehen.
Today (06/03/16) I visited the Olive Pink Botanic Garden Alice Springs in the morning. It focuses on the plants of the arid and semiarid regions of Australia. I also saw a couple of kangaroos there.

Den Rest des Tages verbringe ich auf dem Campingplatz und erledige meinen alltäglichen Kram.
I will spend the rest of the day at the camping ground and deal with some random stuff.
