At the 9th february 2016 I drove to Horseshoe Bay in Port Elliot in the morning and spent some time at the beach. Afterwards I drove to Cape Jervis to wait for the ferry to Kangaroo Island.
Um 16 Uhr setzte ich mit der Fähre nach Kangaroo Island über. Die Überfahrt dauerte ca. 45 Minuten.
At 4 pm I took the ferry to Kangaroo Island. The ferry ride took about 45 minutes.
Nachdem ich auf der Insel angekommen war, fuhr ich zur Pennington Bay, wo ich baden ging, mir den Sonnenuntergang ansah und die Nacht verbrachte.
After I arrived on the island I drove to Pennington Bay, where I went for a swim, viewed the sunset and spent the night.
Gestern (10.02.16) fuhr ich, nachdem ich beim Visitor Centre in Penneshaw war, zum Cape Willoughby Lighthouse. Auf dem Hinweg hate ich das Glück eine Tigerotter zu sehen. Am Leuchtturm lief ich den Cape Willoughby Lightstation Heritage Walk entlang.
Yesterday (10/02/16) I drove to the Cape Willoughby Lighthouse, after I went to the visitor centre in Penneshaw. On my way to the lighthouse I was lucky and saw a tiger snake. At the lighthouse I walked along the Cape Willoughby Lightstation Heritage Walk.
Danach fuhr ich zurück nach Penneshaw, weil ich das Penguin Centre besuchen wollte, welches jedoch geschlosen war. Deshalb fuhr ich zum Prospect Hill und lief diesen hoch. Von dort hatte ich einen schönen Blick über Kangaroo Island.
After that I drove back to Penneshaw because I wanted to visit the Penguin Centre, but it was closed. Thats why I drove to Prospect Hill and walked to the top of it. From there I had a beautiful view over Kangaroo Island.
Anschließend fuhr ich nach Vivonne Bay auf den Campingplatz, wo ich auch die Nacht verbrachte. Auf dem Weg sah ich einen Rosenbergswaran.
Afterwards I drove to Vivonne Bay to the camp ground where I also spent the night. On my way there I saw a heath monitor.
Heute (11.02.16) fuhr ich in den Flinders Chase Nationalpark und besuchte dort die Remarkable Rocks, Cape du Couedic und den Admirals Arch. Dort sah ich auch Seehunde. Außerdem wanderte ich den Platypus Waterholes Walk entlang, auf dem ich Kängurus und einen Koala sah.
Today (11/02/16) I drove to the Flinders Chase National Park and visited the Remarkable Rocks, Cape du Couedic and the Admirals Arch there. I also saw seals there. Furthermore I walked along the Platypus Waterholes Walk where I saw kangaroos and a Koala.
Die Nacht verbringe ich auf einem Campingplatz mit Strom und Wallabys. :D
I will spend the night on a camp ground with power and wallabys. :D
