Barossa Valley & Murray River

Am Mittwoch (17.02.16) fuhr ich morgens zur Whispering Wall. Das ist eine große Staumauer, mit deren Hilfe man sich von einem Ende zum anderen (ca. 140m) laut und deutlich unterhalten kann.
On wednesday (17/02/16) I drove to the Whispering Wall in the morning. This is a dam, with the aid of it you can talk from one end to the other (ca. 140 meters) loudly and clearly.

Anschließend fuhr ich nach Tanunda und besuchte ein paar Weingüter im Barossa Valley, unter anderem das Chateau Tanunda Estate und Seppeltsfield Wines. Außerdem machte ich einen kurzen Abstecher zum Familiengrab der Seppelts.
Afterwards I drove to Tanunda and visited a couple of wineries in the Barossa Valley, for example the Chateau Tanunda Estate and Seppeltsfield Wines. I also did a short side trip to the family grave of the Seppelts.

Anschließend bin ich nach Renmark am Murray River gefahren und habe dort die Nacht auf einem kostenlosen Campingplatz direkt am Fluss verbracht.
After that I drove to Renmark at the Murray River and spent the night on a free camping area directly at the river.

Gestern (18.02.16) bin ich nach Renmark, zum Lock 5 (einer Schleuse), zum Headings Cliffs Lookout und zu Ruston's Roses gefahren. Lock 5 und Rusten's Roses (ein Rosen-,,garten´´) waren allerdings sehr enttäuschend. Anschließend fuhr ich wieder zurück zum kostenlosen Campingplatz und hatte einen schönen Abend am Fluss mit einem kleinen Feuer und netter Gesellschaft.
Yesterday (18/02/16) I drove to Renmark, Lock 5 (a watergate), Headings Cliffs Lookout and to Ruston's Roses. Lock 5 and Ruston's Roses were very disappointing. Afterwards I drove back to the free camping area and had a nice evening at the river with a small fire and great company.

Ein kleines Feuer am Fluss/A small fire at the Riverside

Heute (19.02.16) habe ich mir ein Kayak geliehen und bin ein paar Stunden auf dem Murray River Kayak gefahren, was echt ein Erlebnis war! Man kann den Fluss viel besser erkunden und sieht sonst unzugängliche Stellen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Today (19/02/16) I hired a kayak and paddled on the Murray River for a couple of hours, which was a great experience! You can explore the river way better and see places which otherwise aren't accessable . Very advisable!

Danach fuhr ich in den Murray River Nationalpark und setzte mich ans Wasser um mich auszuruhen.
Afterwards I drove to the Murray River National Park and sit at the Riverside to have a rest.

Nachmittags bin ich dann zurück Richtung Adelaide gefahren und werde die Nacht auf einer Rest Area verbringen.
In the afternoon I drove back in the direction of Adelaide and I will spend the night at a rest area.
