Sydney Sights

Heute habe ich mir die drei wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Sydney angeschaut: das Opernhaus, die Sydney Harbour Bridge und den Royal Botanical Garden. Dadurch, dass ich meine Tour schon um 9 Uhr gestartet habe, hatte ich das Glück das Opernhaus und die Sydney Harbour Bridge noch sehr leer zu erleben. Als erstes hab ich mir die Oper angeschaut (von außen).
Today I took a look at the three most important sights in Sydney: the Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Royal Botnical Garden. Thereby that I started my tour already at 9 o´clock, I had the luck to experience the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge relatively empty. First of all I had a look at the Opera House (from the outside)

Vom Opernhaus waren auch gute Bilder von der Harbour Bridge möglich.
From the Opera House good Pictures from the Harbour Bridge were possible.

Danach fuhr ich mit der Fähre auf die andere Seite der Bucht, um bessere Bilder von der Oper zu machen und über die Harbour Bridge zurückzulaufen.
After that I took the Ferry to the other side of the bay to take better Pictures of the opera and to walk back over the Harbour Bridge.

Am Pylon Lookout habe ich dann von einem Herren ein Ticket geschenkt bekommen und konnte somit kostenlos (statt 13 Dollar!) den schönen Ausblick über die Stadt genießen.
At Pylon Lookout I received a ticket as a gift from a man and thus I was able to enjoy the beautiful view over the City for free (instead of 13 dollars!).

Danach ging es in den Botanischen Garten.
After that I went to the Botanical Garden.

Das Farnhaus/ the fern house

Im Farnhaus sah ich auch das erste Reptil in Australien: eine junge Australische Wasseragame (Physignatus lesueurii).
In the fern house I also saw my first reptile in Australia: a young Australian Eastern Water Dragon (Physignatus lesueurii).

Danach machte ich dann nochmal einen kurzen Abstecher zum Mrs. Macquarie´s Point, von wo aus ich das Feuerwerk geguckt habe.
After that I made a short side trip to Mrs. Macquarie´s Point wherefrom I watched the firework.

Morgen besuche ich dann den Taronga Zoo.
Tomorrow I will visit the Taronga Zoo.
