Today I have again the oportunity to write something in the blog.
Nach Canberra fuhr ich am 18.01. über Cooma nach Quaama, weil ich von dort aus am nächsten Tag in den Wadbilliga Nationalpark fahren wollte. Am nächsten Tag (19.01.) gab ich es dann aber nach zwei Versuchen auf, den Park zu erreichen, da mich mein Navi über Straßen schicken wollte, welche nur für Geländewagen vorgesehen sind. Deshalb entschloss ich mich direkt nach Jindabyne zu fahren, um am nächsten Tag den Mount Kosciuszko zu besteigen. Die Nacht verbrachte ich auf einem Campingplatz mit Strom und Duschen direkt an einem See.
After Canberra I drove at the 18th of January threw Cooma to Quaama because I wanted to visit the Wadbilliga National Park. At the next day (19/01/16) I gave up to get Access to the park after two attempts because my GPS wanted to guide me over unsealed roads, which were only siutable for 4WD´s. That´s why I decided to drive strait to Jindabyne to ascend Mount Kosciuszko. I spent the night at a Camping ground with power and showers next to a lake.
Am nächsten Tag (20.01) fuhr ich zum Charlotte Pass im Kosciuszko Nationalpark, um von dort aus die Wanderung auf den Mount Kosciuszko, Australiens höchsten Berg (2229 m), zu beginnen.
The next day (20/01) I drove to the Charlotte Pass in Kosciuszko National Park to start my walk to the top of Mount Kosciuszko, Australias highest mountain (2229 m), from there.
Es war ein tolles Gefühl nach knapp 2,5 Stunden und 9 Kilometern endlich auf dem Gipfel zu stehen!
It was a great feeling to finally stood on the top of the mountain after 2.5 hours and 9 Kilometers!
Der Ausblick war trotz des nicht perfekten Wetters sehr schön.
The view was despite of the not so perfect weather very beautiful.
Nach einer kurzen Pause auf dem Gipfel machte ich mich auf den Rückweg. Insgesamt bin ich an diesem Tag 20 km in ca. 5 Stunden gewandert.
After a short break on the top of the mountain I started my way back. Altogether I walked 20 km in approximately 5 hours.
Die Nacht verbrachte ich auf einem schönen Campingplatz im Nationalpark.
I spent the night at a beautiful camping area inside of the national park.
Den nächsten Tag (21.01) nutzte ich um etwas Strecke zu machen. Ich fuhr durch den Nationalpark und die australischen Alpen bis nach Omeo. An diesem Tag machte ich mir mein bisher bestes Abendessen in Australien: Toast-Cheeseburger.
Die Nacht parkte ich wieder kostenlos auf einer Camping Area.
The next day (21/01) I used to cover some distance. I drove threw the national park and the Australian Alps to Omeo. On that day I cooked my best dinner in Australia so far: Toast-Cheeseburger´s.
I parked at a camping area for free that night again.
Heute bin ich von Omeo über Lakes Entrance nach Golden Beach gefahren. Eigentlich wollte ich in den The Lakes Nationalpark, aber da es regnet verschiebe ich das auf morgen.
Today I drove from Omeo threw Lakes Entrance to Golden Beach. Normally I wanted to visit The Lakes National Park, but because of the rain I will do it tomorrow.
Nächstes großes Ziel ist Melbourne.
The next big stop is Melbourne.
